It's Buddy Week at LOGOS!

Did you know that the word "friend" appears in the Bible over 99 times?
(I didn't count myself, however, Google is seldom wrong!)

Some references to friends in the Bible are Proverbs 18:24, Proverbs 17:17, Proverbs 27:6, Proverbs 27:10, Eccl. 4:9, John 15:13-14. One of the famous friendships of the Bible is between David and Jonathan. How about the friendship between Ruth and Naomi? I'm sure you could come up with more examples. It is very timely that the Sunday School was talking about friendship this week. I noticed on the bulletin board that the children pinned up cards with ideas on how to be a good friend. They had some cool ideas....one caught my eye. It suggested that a friend invites other friends to the activities they enjoy. So, don't keep LOGOS a secret invite a friend this week.

Do you have a great friend that would love LOGOS? Is there someone that you'd like to become better friends with? Or, get to know a little more? Perhaps, spend more time with? Well, invite them to LOGOS where friends are part of our family and our greatest friendship is with Jesus Christ. We have another fun-packed evening planned for you and your guests. Mrs. Wise has also shared that there is a special gift for those who bring a buddy. On the menu: Amigo Pita Pockets, Smiley Fries, Apple Slices, and Fudgesicles. Just call the church office and let them know if you are bringing a friend so we can feed them well!
